Fatal Model Loading

致命的模型加載

If there is a fatal issue with the game, such as missing mods, or mods for the wrong MC version, the game will not attempt to load models. This will help prevent people from wasting their time loading the game, only to have it fail.

Animation

Allows the animation of Block and Item textures to be disabled using the "/surge animation" command. Running the command again will enable texture animations again. This can have a noticeable performance impact on older CPU's and GPUs. This command does not require OP to use, and will only disable animation for you, not other players.

Load Time Analysis

When enabled, the mod will count how long each mod takes to load. Once you reach the main menu, the file will be found in "/.minecraft/surge/loadtimes/". While this shouldn't be used as undeniable proof that a mod is slow or broken, it can be used to spot mods which are slowing down your load times. This feature is disabled by default so you will have to enable it by editing your config file.

Pigmen Sleep Fix

While enabled, this will fix a bug in Vanilla MC which prevents the player from sleeping when non aggressive zombie pigmen are around. This bug was acknowledged by Jeb here. This can be completely disabled by editing the config file.

Hide Players

Adds the "/surge hideplayers" command. When this command is used only your player will be shown in the world. This will also add the "/surge whitelist [add|remove] [username]" command which can be used to allow certain players to be ignored by this feature and show up as they would normally.

Cloud Geometry Improvements

Modifies the cloud renderer to use the GPU to handle geometry rather than the CPU. This significantly improves the performance of cloud rendering. This fix was contributed by Zaggy!
